As many know, any room can be heated even with one candle if the heat does not leak out from it, but is completely delayed. On the contrary, a house with windows and doors open, even a hundred powerful boilers will not be able to heat up. The whole focus is that the warmth tries to get into a more chilled zone in all ways.
As a rule, the floor and the roof are not large heaters of the heat: on top of the attic or attic, which are a good buffer zone for heat, and under the house the earth has heated once and that’s it, because the heat of the conductor from it is very bad, and there is often a basement in the house as an additional buffer. But with the walls going right into the street, the picture is completely different: they are constantly blown from all sides by a cold wind, which very effectively removes heat from the house if the walls have good thermal conductivity or, as they say more often, poor thermal insulation. Actually, the task of warming the house, first of all, is to reduce the thermal conductivity of walls and windows. Although the technology for the manufacture of windows, both wooden and plastic, has long excluded this problem.
Heat loss is a serious gap in the family budget in the form of heating accounts, and given the fact that the boiler houses that heat water for heating are most often done by burning coal or other combustible materials, which in turn adversely affects the environment.
Now we will consider the process of external insulation of the house with panels with decorative clinker tiles that are made of plastic polymers and hold heat well. Nowadays, this method of external insulation of the room has established itself as the most effective and least laborious in implementation, because all installation can be carried out by only one person, even without much experience in construction or finishing work, with a minimum set of tools and improvised materials. In addition, this type of decoration allows you to completely transform the facade of any structure.
What are they made, and how the clinker thermo -insulating panels are produced?
one. A matrix is placed in a special press form for proper positioning of clinker tiles. The appearance depends on their proper mutual location.
2. Then the tiles themselves are laid. They are both a decorative layer and additional thermal insulation, since the clinker, like a brick, is a good heat insulator.
To the information! The technology of production of clinker tiles is very similar to the manufacture of bricks, and such a tile is obtained by firing special varieties of clay, into which the dye can be added.
The dimensions and colors of the finished tiles can vary very much, and depend mainly only on the design idea.
3. Next, install plastic fasteners, which are needed to fasten the finished panel to the wall.
four. Then the press form is filled with liquid polyurethane foam, from which a monolithic thermal insulation panel will be obtained.
For reference! In some industries, instead of polyurethane foam polystyrene is used.
These materials may differ in cost, although their physical properties are almost the same.
Ready -made panels have a special shape, which allows you to achieve the integrity of the decorative and thermal insulation layer when docking.
Now we list the pluses of this method of insulation:
Excellent water resistance. Polyurethane and polystyrene are extremely hydrophobic materials, that is, repel it.
Neither on a polymer base, nor on clinker decorative tiles, colonies of microorganisms like a fungus or putrefactive bacteria are propagated.
A very wide selection of design both in color and in the form of masonry, allows you to improvise without damage to insulation properties.
Durability and unpretentiousness. It is very simple to care for such a coating, it is enough to wash it once a year with a stream of water or wipe it with a damp cloth.
Speed and ease of installation. Even one person will cope with this, having a minimum of the tool at hand.
The ratio of decorative qualities to the price makes a real brick simply uncompetitive.
Due to the ease of materials used, in comparison with the brick, there is no need to strengthen the foundation before insulation of the house.
Preparing the surface for installing clinker panels
It does not play the role of what material the walls are built – it is important that they are as even as possible. Why is it so important?
First, mechanical damage will lead to heat loss. Any concentrated or convex plot, especially within the first three meters from the ground, immediately falls at risk, because a blow, or even a simple resting of the ladder into the cavity, can lead to cracks, and as a result, to a violation of thermal insulation. And secondly, the heat-insulating qualities of the panels are much higher than that of the air, and if there are large voids under them, then the efficiency of thermal insulation will decrease sharply. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the changes on the plane of the insulated wall to one, maximum two centimeters. To do this, as a rule, use building mixtures and plasters.
In addition to the evenness of the walls, they should still have a high -quality surface: the absence of peeling paint, refusal, crumbling sand layer. If any of this takes place, then you will have to skin the surface until such defects completely disappear. Surface quality control can be carried out simply by hand to the touch. If the upper layer does not stop, then the soil should be applied with spraying, and re -whistle the wall again.
Advice! On strongly crumbling surfaces, soil should be applied with a spray gun.
You have never plastered? Or are afraid that the result will be so -so? Then there is another option – to make the facade of the house with a ventilated. This is done using a special metal profile, which will create the same distance from the wall along the entire area. We will not consider the methods and techniques of building this design now, since this goes beyond our article. But the advantage of such a installation of panels will still illuminate.
The air gap created by the profile between thermal insulation panels and the facade of the house allows the air to circulate freely. This prevents the accumulation of condensate, which adversely affects the durability of the walls of the house and the microclimate inside it. Especially if the walls are built of wood or wooden composite.
Advice! Installation of window sills are best done before installing thermo -insulating panels. They should be installed in a special recess in the frame of the plastic window and protruded behind the front surface of the insulated wall for several (3-5) centimeters. If the ledge of the external windowsill is made too small, then during the rain there is a risk of water draining along the wall. Clinker panels, of course, are not scary, but ugly flow may form under the windows. Too much ledge will contribute to a greater noise during precipitation.
Installation of thermo -insulating panels
Clinker thermal insulation panels are suitable for lining of any buildings, regardless of the material of the walls and the life of their operation. Also the presence of special details reduces the complexity of fastening at the corners and joints almost to zero.
Installation is similar to the assembly of a children’s designer, where all the details are simply created for each other.
First of all, we beat off the lower level of the coating. It should be ideally below the floor level by 15 cm. This will prevent the freezing of the floor through unprotected sections of the walls. Also, without this step, it will be extremely difficult to smoothly install a basement profile.
Next, the basement is attached, according to the marked level. It is used as a guide bar.
It is better to start installing from the lower left corner of the wall, resting the panel into the installed base. In the absence of angular parts of the decorative layer, we cut out the protruding edges of 45 degrees with a device for cutting tiles, for joining with panels of the adjacent wall.
After that, we drill the holes and fasten the panels using a facade dowel.
We also align the next panel on the basement and join the first on the right, and then we fasten the dowels in the same way.
All subsequent installation is carried out in the same way-gradually from left to right and below-up.
At the end of the installation, the joints are filled with facade frost -resistant grouting.
To date, insulation of the house with clinker heat -insulating panels is the most economical for the home budget, and an effective way, which also allows you to give excellent appearance to any house, without reconstruction or complete restructuring of the house.
