The fence is the most common form of designation of the feature of the site, mainly due to a relatively cheap and fairly fast installation in comparison with a continuous stone fence.
It costs cheaper than a stone fence, although the price of its maintenance and repair during long -term operation can negate momentary benefits. Take, for example, a wood fence: the wood is relatively short -lived in structure, as it is affected by rot and insects. However, there is no need to draw hasty conclusions, since with regular processing of such a fence with protective means, it will last you long for a long time. And if you are located on concrete or plastic structural elements, then it will hardly require special care.
There are a lot of options to protect your territory from an extraneous look, but at the same time you will have to be guided by the location of your site in a certain area. With a constantly dominant strong wind, you will need a fence that will serve not only protection from the wind, but also a barrier that will have to be repaired once every five -year plan.
Consider more different types of fences in more detail.
one. The fence is a net
This type of fence is constructed from a metal mesh or grille, which is installed between the support pillars. The grid fence is made of a metal lattice galvanized or covered with plastic, suspended on a thick wire stretched between the pillars. There is a cheaper way to make a fence from a soft wire mesh, however, it is relatively short -lived. But what we are offered in many horticultural stores is a decorative wire fence, which serves only to indicate borders or support for light curly plants. But do not forget that any net fence, if there are climbing plants on it, will decorate your cozy site.
2. Lattice fence
Subtle rails made of soft wood or fights are used as a wall support for climbing plants. Panels from hard structures of this type in combination with pillars can be used as a durable fence. There are a huge selection of ready -made decorative panels in garden centers, but for such a hedge you do not have to go to the store, you just need a little patience. The hedge made by you will look no worse than purchased in an expensive store, while she herself will talk about her exclusivity.
3. Pillars of chains
Such a fence serves only an element of decor, in fact, is not a protective design. It is made of chains of plastic or painted metal, which are suspended among themselves and connected by low columns dug into the ground. You can protect your lawn or flowerbed with it.
four. A continuous plank fence in a continuous hollow planned fence is built from boards nailed to horizontal crossbars into a into a partial overlap of each other in length. The best material for such a fence is cedar, but it is possible to use simple soft varieties of wood. Such a fence will not be a cheap pleasure, but it is durable and beautiful, but vertically tall and smooth boards will become an obstacle to uninvited guests.
5. The fence from prefabricated panels is very common, since it is not particularly difficult to install. Ready panels are nailed to wooden pillars. The standard panel has a width of 1.8 m and a row with a height of 600 mm to 1.8 m. Boards or strips can be used non -cunning, that is, they will have an unprocessed edge and such an overlap is called a height or rustle. All panel fences usually justify their value. If, when choosing a fence, you still prefer the inviolability of private life, then choose the overlap panels, since the interwoven boards dry out in the summer and leave cracks in the fence.
6. The fence with alternating boards fastening this fence is built in such a way that the wiped boards are attached to horizontal on both sides in turn. In this case, all your hands. If you want a decorative fence, you can leave certain gaps between the boards, if you want solitude, then the gap is not needed. This design is very convenient, since it has the same appearance on both sides and can be used between two sections. Such a fence is an excellent protection against wind, as it makes it possible to overcome the distance between the boards, which reduces the load on the entire structure.
7. The fence from the picket fence or the picket fence remains one of the more common styles of fences, especially where the high fence will not be appropriate. Narrow vertical staff are placed with a distance of about 50 mm among themselves with a rounded or pointed end from above. But the construction of such a fence is manually laborious enough.
eight. The “Ranch” fence as materials for such a fence use soft coniferous or hard deciduous trees. The “Ranch” fence is a low fence of simple horizontal crossbars, fixed to each other on low columns. Such fences are popular not only from wood, but also from plastic, which has a fresh look, it does not need to be painted and it practically does not require care.
9. Concrete fence this fence will provide the possibility of solitude from curious eyes, it does not require increased care. Concrete horizontal stripes connecting “in the castle” are placed on each other to the required height. Every vertical row is held in grooves of special concrete pillars for the fence. But this particularly heavy fence can be very dangerous if the pillars are not firmly concreted in the ground.
