As a result – sewer gases will gradually seep through a water plug outward. Or, on the contrary, a certain vacuum may appear in the system of drainage systems. Then, aligning the pressure, the liquid from the hydraulic recovery can partially or completely suck into the sewer pipe.
To prevent such phenomena, a number of measures should be provided. Firstly, it is initially necessary to lay the sewer, observing all the rules and standards, in particular, regarding the diameter of the pipes (at least 100-110 mm). Secondly, we advise you to control the quality of the work of the drainage system and not allow its blockages.
The source of unpleasant odors can be the water supply itself for sewage. Organic deposits on its internal walls can provoke the reproduction of bacteria, and the oxygen contained in the bolt through the shutter will additionally contribute to this. At the same time, if the plumbing device will idle for at least a few hours, the colony of microorganisms begins to suffocate and die, emitting a stench. It is possible to minimize the probability of such incidents, if at least once every six months remove a siphon for a preventive examination and cleaning.
And finally, it may happen that plumbing will not use for a long time, during which the water in the water sounding will have time to evaporate, and the smells will get the opportunity to freely enter the room. The way out is clear – it is necessary to ensure the constancy of the presence of a water plug in the device.
